

MacKenna King
​
MacKenna was born in Oakville and raised in Barrie. In school, she enjoyed reading, writing, and health and physical education. Her passion for reading and writing reflects her intellectual curiosity and creative spirit, while her enthusiasm for health and physical education shows her commitment to maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.
Academically, MacKenna attended Cape Breton University as an undergraduate student on a soccer scholarship. She graduated from the Bachelor of Arts and Community Studies program where she spent her time in the Cape Breton community working with children and coaching soccer. Her passion for education and dedication to her students led her to pursue a career in teaching, and she successfully graduated from teachers college at Lakehead University in April 2023.
Currently, MacKenna is an Ontario Certified Teacher and works for the Simcoe County District School Board as an Occasional Teacher. She is qualified to teach a broad spectrum of grade levels, ranging from Kindergarten to Grade 8. She possesses additional qualifications in Special Education, as well as Health and Physical Education in the Intermediate and Senior Divisions. She also currently helps coach the Bear Creek Flag Football Team.

Outside of teaching and tutoring, MacKenna enjoys spending her time running, reading, playing soccer, and hanging out with friends and family.

Thomas Mickoski
Thomas was born in Toronto but has lived in Innisfil since the age of 3. In 3rd grade, at the age of 8, he was identified as being gifted in Mathematics. This led to an intense passion for solving Mathematics problems as well as assisting and providing guidance for others.
Academically, Thomas graduated at the top of his class in high school with an average grade of 94% throughout his 4 years. Following his graduation, Thomas attended St. John's University (NYC) where he majored in Mathematics before transferring to Seattle University to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He graduated at the top of his class receiving Magna Cum Laude honours (GPA of 3.7+).
Currently, Thomas is attending Lakehead University in Orillia, pursuing a Bachelor of Education in the I/S stream with Mathematics and Science teachables.
Thomas also currently works as the lead coach and event planner at Offszn Training, a private youth soccer training and events company located in Barrie. Since Thomas' arrival, the company has seen tremendous growth in all facets while providing him with more experience doing what he loves, working with kids.
Outside of tutoring, coaching and teaching, Thomas was an extremely successful athlete who competed with the Canadian U17 National Soccer Team, the Toronto FC Academy, NCAA Division 1 Universities - St. John's University & Seattle University and German Professional Club SV Waldhof Mannheim.
